OUR LEADERSHIP
ADAM KING
President, Founding Member
Adam's mission is to grow the wrestling culture and community in the Shoals, and he works to promote the sport and provide opportunities for kids to get involved. He believes whole heartedly in the values that Lionheart and the sport of wrestling provide, not only for the kids, but also for their families and the broader community.

As parents of wrestlers, Adam and his wife Lindsey have seen firsthand the positive impact that wrestling can have on kids. He loves watching them progress and seeing their confidence grow as they develop their skills on and off the mat. Adam is always looking for new and innovative ways to improve the club and make it even better for the kids.
Matt Standridge
VICE President, Founding Member
Matt and his wife Kimberly have eight children and currently have six actively wrestling, including their daughter, who competes at the high school level for Deshler. Beyond wrestling, Matt and Kimberly serve as staff pastors at Grace House and have a rich history of serving others in the community. Wrestling has become a cornerstone of their family and ministry, inspiring the next generation of wrestlers to be resilient, disciplined, and fearless.
At Lionheart, wrestling isn’t just a sport—it’s a way of life. Once our family discovered wrestling, we went all in, dedicating ourselves to building champions on and off the mat. We are committed to coaching the whole athlete, focusing on physical, mental, and spiritual growth to create young men and women who are strong in every sense of the word.
